KayDawn gets married!

The Happy Couple

Pre-maritial Jitters

The degree of difficulty in combining two lives ranks somewhere between rerouting a hurricane and finding a parking place in downtown Manhattan. ~Claire Cloninger

Yes I had to see it to believe it! My sister KayDawn finally got married on the 23rd. She and David Lara tied the knot in front of a Justice of the Peace at the Indoor Pavilion in Sandy. The day went without a hitch except for the music. No one was in charge so I ran over and tried to find the right song on the CD player. The song that I thought was the wedding march was some weird operatic rendition of "Love Me Tender" so I switched it to the first song. The precession waited and waited for the correct music but to no avail as I was incapable of finding the right music. Needless to say the 'Love Me Tender' song was the correct one I just didn't want long enough. Hannah and Elainea were flower girls, but only Hannah walked down the aisle. We wish the newlyweds happiness and love in their lives together.

Idaho Falls 2008

We went to Idaho Falls again this year to watch the fireworks and then visit Bear World. The fireworks were wonderful as usual. My sister LeAnn and her family were able to make the trip with us. As tradition calls my Mom went up with us. I was so excited at the chance to share bear world with Elainea. Hannah has been there before, but Elainea has not. Well needless to say we set Elainea up for a big disappointment. It started with a library book of "Little Rabbit Lost". It is a story of a rabbit that gets tickets to 'rabbit world' the local amusement park for her fifth birthday. Long story short the rabbit gets lost and then found. Well this caused Hannah to start calling Lagoon (our local amusement park) Rabbit World.

Needless to say we were driving through the nature park looking at the bears and asking Elainea if she liked Bear World. She looked at me and asked "Where are the rides?" OK this is where it hits me, once again I have tried to outguess a three-year-old and failed once again. Here are some fun pictures to share.
